Hybrid systems combine rooftop generation with battery backup for essential loads. They cost more than on-grid systems and should be sized against the loads you actually need during a cut.

Questions
Will a hybrid system run every appliance in a power cut?
Not unless it is designed and paid for that way. Most hybrid proposals cover essential loads such as lights, fans and selected sockets.
